The necessary growth of production and office space

CoreDux is growing as a company and in all the industries it works in. This has a direct effect on the demand for CoreDux products and services. With offices in 4 countries and production facilities in 2 countries, the decision to expand in Tilburg the Netherlands was a well-considered choice. “Due to the increasing demand and the loyal cooperation with customers and partners, it was essential for us to increase our clean room space. This is why we had to move our warehouse and with this the industrial pre-processing facilities”, explains Project and Programme Manager Gerben Kranendonk from CoreDux.

The initial reason for the expansion

CoreDux knows that ultra-high purity products are a challenge. This is why we have built state-of-the-art clean rooms to ensure our metal hoses are manufactured and tested under the strictest clean conditions.

Gerben reveals, “we made a plan to move our warehouse to realize more cleanroom space. We looked at our current floor space and noted that we urgently needed to grow in production space, but also office space to facilitate the growth of our team. This was not possible at our premises in Maidstone. At that specific moment, a property became available opposite our current premises. From that moment on, things moved quickly and we chose to expand a completely new building into the Brainport area. The new premises is next to Maidstone (CoreDux headquarters). This keeps us well connected as a team.”

The layout of the new property

The second building in Tilburg, located at the Droogdokkeneiland, offers sufficient space for the coming years. New cleanroom space has been created specifically for our Semicon and High Tech industries.  To create this new space, we needed to move the preparation area and warehouse. The new premises has a production area of 550 m2 and an office area of 350 m2.

Duration of the project

As Project Manager, Gerben has supervised the expansion of the additional business premises from start to finish. The project began in March 2021 and within 6 months, by early August all materials and systems from Maidstone were relocated to Droogdokkeneiland. “We are fully on track and very grateful for the cooperation of all the internal and external stakeholders who have made this possible”, enthuses Gerben. CoreDux has been officially operating from the new building since late-August 2021.

By constantly steering on the parameters QLTC (quality, logistics, technology and costs), we have been able to make our expansion a smooth process.

We look forward to further optimising the building on Droogdokkeneiland to our standards and welcoming our customers and partners to the new premises when the work is complete.
