Our in-house CoreDux Labs play an essential role in our production process. They ensure stringent and extensive controls take place during manufacturing to guarantee the very best end products. This ensures our customers receive the outstanding level of quality and service they have come to expect from CoreDux over the years. Our U-bend and cantilever test benches guarantee our custom-made hoses, that we completely engineer and build in-house, are fully certified to the EN ISO10380:2012 standard – the must-have for all metal hose assemblies.
Years of in-depth research in our laboratories has deepened our knowledge of the behavior of flexible metal hoses under a variety of constraints – way beyond the capabilities of our competitors. The combination of expert know-how and precision equipment allows us to characterize our products in reaction to more static constraints, for example with our 6 DOF measurement bench for stiffness. This allows us to measure in situ the stresses and strains which a hose could induce in a system once installed in its final position. This means our customers can now dimension their systems with complete accuracy taking into account actual values forces – something that could only be estimated in the past.
We have the ability to characterize hose behaviors under pressure cycles, vibratory constraints or general movement solicitations in any dynamic environment. This expert knowledge goes beyond what is required as standard and allows us to fully plan how our assemblies and systems will behave in the most extreme environments – such as high levels of vibration during the take-off of a rocket or extended periods of vibrations up to 100,000 hours.
